Generating a document pack

Every generation starts from two required inputs and two optional ones:

• Job title (required): e.g. “Senior Backend Engineer”. The generator detects seniority and function from this.
• Industry (required): e.g. “fintech”. Tailors responsibilities, compliance notes, and tone.
• Seniority (optional): override the auto-detected level (intern → director).
• Company name (optional): personalises the documents.
• Language (optional): generate the whole pack in English, Dutch, German, French, or Spanish — the on-screen labels and the documents switch together.

Press Generate documents and you immediately get three things: a role-specific job description, an onboarding checklist, and a ready-to-adapt HR policy. In a hurry? The example-role chips on the empty generator fill the form and produce a complete pack in one click.

Editing before you save or export

Every pack is editable in place. Switch on Edit to reword the summary, add, remove, or reorder responsibilities, requirements, and checklist items, and tailor the HR policy — then save or export the version you edited, not the original draft.

Saving to your dashboard

Create a free account to save a pack. Saved generations live in your dashboard, where you can reopen, edit, or delete them. Generating without an account works too; you just won’t be able to save.

Exporting & downloading

Take a finished pack wherever you work:

• Copy as Markdown, or download a .md or .txt file — free on every plan.
• Print (or save to PDF from the print dialog) straight from the pack view — free.
• Word (.docx) and a formatted PDF download — available on the Pro plan.

Plans, API access & usage

The core generator, in-place editing, Markdown/text export, and print are free with an account. The Pro plan adds Word/PDF export and the generation API — create keys in your dashboard and generate up to a daily limit. Your dashboard shows a live 30-day usage chart and your month-to-date total.

Self-serve checkout is being finalised while Website Holding’s billing platform comes online. To arrange a Pro or Team plan today, contact us and choose “Billing” — we’ll set it up. Website Holding is the merchant of record for all paid plans.

Account settings

Manage your account from account settings — it’s also where you can permanently delete your account and all associated data (your user record, sessions, and saved packs) at any time.

Adapting the output

The documents are a strong first draft, not a finished legal document. Before you use them:

• Check responsibilities and requirements against the actual role.
• Review the HR policy against your local employment law and company handbook.
• Fill in company-specific details (benefits, locations, reporting lines).

Once a document is final and signed, you may want a tamper-evident record of it; you can seal any file with XSeal for a timestamped certificate.

FAQ

Do I need an account to generate a pack?

No. You can generate and read a full pack anonymously. An account is only needed to save packs to your dashboard, create API keys, or use Word/PDF export.

Is the output written by an AI or LLM?

No. StaffGenerator uses a deterministic, rules-based engine that runs on our own servers. Your inputs are never sent to a third-party model provider, and your content is never used to train models.

Can I generate in languages other than English?

Yes — English, Dutch, German, French, and Spanish. Pick a language in the generator and the whole pack (and the interface) switches with it. The public API currently generates in English only.

Can I edit the documents before using them?

Yes. Every pack is fully editable in place before you save or export it — see “Editing before you save or export” above.

How do I get Word/PDF export or API access?

Those are Pro-plan features. While self-serve checkout is being finalised, contact us and choose “Billing” to arrange Pro.

How do I delete my data?

Open account settings and delete your account — this permanently removes your user record, sessions, and every saved pack. See the privacy policy for exactly what we store.
